Thank you for your interest in our health tests. Before you decide to use any of our services, please read the following information carefully:

GENERELL INFORMATION

Feminealab offers health tests that can give you general information about your health. The tests are not intended to diagnose, treat, alleviate, prevent or cure any disease or condition.

NO PATIENT LIABILITY

Feminealab does not take anamnesis and we have no patient responsibility. This means that we cannot provide personal medical advice or draw conclusions about possible causative conditions based on the results of our health tests.

INFORMATION SECURITY

Information about symptoms, requests for advice and assessment provided to us via email, phone or via my pages are not requested and are not assessed by our staff. If you have symptoms of illness, we recommend that you turn to your attending physician or contact your health centre

CONSUMER CHOICE

You choose your health test yourself, regardless of whether we provide information about symptoms linked to health tests or have search functions to find a suitable health test or articles.

NO DIAGNOSTICS

Feminealab does not perform diagnostics on an individual based on the results of health tests.

METHODS AND REFERENCE VALUES

The methods for analyzing the blood sample and reference values ​​are scientifically proven within the Swedish healthcare system via the Karolinska University Laboratory, SYNLAB and Unilabs.

GENERAL TEXTS FOR THE RESPECTIVE BLOOD MARKER FOR TEST RESULTS

The text for the respective blood marker should be regarded as general, informative texts for increased knowledge about the meaning of the respective blood analysis, not as specific to you.

NO AUTOMATIC FURTHER CONSULTATION

Feminealab does not automatically offer further consultation based on your results. However, FemineaLab is part of Citikliniken, which is a healthcare provider within primary care where you always have the opportunity to order a doctor's appointment as a listed or unlisted patient.

IN CASE OF DEVIATING ANALYSIS RESULTS

In case of abnormal analysis results, we refer you to the appropriate level of care, usually your GP contact

TIME-CRITICAL TEST ANSWERS

We understand that it is important that you receive your test results immediately after taking your blood sample. Responses normally take 2-6 working days. It can even go in a day. However, on average, after taking your test at the beginning of the week, the answer comes from the lab at the end of the week or at the beginning of the following week. We cannot speed up the lab and sometimes some markers included in a package are very slow, eg Retinol can take up to 2 weeks to get a response.
